Acryl is one of the preferred media of the artist. For her it is ideal to create the colour play that is so typical for her work.

Soft Pastel

Haar voorliefde voor kleur en het mengen van kleuren doet de kunstenaar ook regelmatig grijpen naar soft pastel. Zij maakt zo schilderachtige tekeningen die perfect de sfeer weergeven die zij wenst te bereiken.

Her preference for colours and the mixing thereof often drive the artist to the use of soft pastel. She uses them to make picturesque drawings that perfectly display the atmosphere she wants to achieve.

Mixed Media

In the above artwork charcoal, ink, pastel and acryl where combined on a background of collage from newspaper cuttings. The artist gets great satisfaction from the use of mixed media. She will certainly explore the possible uses of mixed media in her future work.

Voor haar werken in zwart-wit is inkt een geliefd medium. Haar eerste liefde blijft wel houtskool, omdat dit medium zich perfect leent tot mengen en variëren tussen licht en donker.
